Fermentation Wordplay

FermentAsian

Fermentation - FermentAsian. Get it? Come on, admit it - it's a brilliant name for a modern Vietnamese restaurant that is situated in the very heart of South Australian wine country - Barossa Valley. The sandstone building in Tanunda that houses the restaurant is warm and inviting. The service is impeccable and the food is excellent.

FermentAsian - Gio mia Sai Gon     FermentAsian - Ma bo om

FermentAsian - Ca ri fit     FermentAsian - Lon kho Ha Noi

Gio mia Sai Gon - Saigon sugar cane prawns with lime, chilli and salt
Ma bo om - Braised organic beef cheeks with hot and sour herbs
Ca ri fit - Red duck curry with lychees and pineapple
Lon kho Ha Noi - Hanoi caramel Barossa Berkshire pork belly

I would have been tempted to indulge in the wine list, but with several more wineries to visit and tasked with the responsibility to drive, I wisely decided to not peek. Oh alright, I did - but only to order the missus and mum a glass of wine each - I drank only water, sparkling not still. Like shaken, not stirred. Get it?
